when your child gets admission in school????

With both of my boys. I took them to school on there first day. And with both of them. They took it better than I did. They were happy to be around more kids. But with me I cried my eyes out for hours after wards. It made me realize that they were growing up and wouldnt be little babies much longer. With each one. I called my mom and cried to her. and with each one. She reminded me no matter how big they get or how old they get. They will always be my little boys. They are 25 and 20 now. and when the first one moved out. I cried again. Now the youngest is talking about it. My husband cant wait, me it brings a sadness to my heart. Its just another step of growing up .To making a life of there own. but in my heart. They will always be mommy's little boys.

Last year we tried preschool. I didn't last two weeks and ended up pulling my little boy out to keep at home another year. I am a stay at home mommy and I just wasn't ready to have go to school two days a week.:) This year, we tried preschool again (he's 4) and he loved it so much that I just couldn't bear to keep him home. The first two weeks were hard for me. I missed him so much, but now, I look forward to the "Me Time" I get when he is at school. I love having him home with me, but I had forgotten what it was like without a child in the house all the time and I rather enjoy the quiet for 5 hours twice a week. I am not sure how I will respond when he goes to elementary school next year. I may be a basket case when he starts going 5 days a week for 7 hours a day.
