Crying!!!!  | |  I am going to go insane. Between my toddler teething and my newborn "winding down", I hear someone crying most of the day. Right now my newborn won't stop crying. I have tried everything. At least I am not getting frustrated which is more than I can say for my husband!! I am just sick of hearing crying all of the time. Anyone else in the same situation (I am sure there are many!)?

I have found ways to calm myself. I just wish I could pass them on to my husband. Right now if I cannot calm my 7 week old down and I have tried everything, I sit her in her car seat where I know she will be safe and take 2 minutes to myself. It really helps me from getting mad or frustrated. It is also hard to get mad or frustrated at them when they look up at you and smile (she just did that earlier today). | |

My husband helps out when he can. He is great with our children. The way his schedule works out though he is not able to help too much during the week.
No we cannot afford to hire a nanny and I really wouldn't want one. Yes, I get flustered from all of the crying sometimes, but I love raising my kids. That is my job, to raise them. I would find it odd to have someone there either doing it or helping me do it. I am just weird I guess! | |

Looks like I have a lot of sleepless nights ahead of me. Best of luck, I wish I could offer some advice but I'm soon to be in the same boat.

| | 5.  Zaphenath (102) | 3 years ago |  I can tell that your not yet used to babies crying. In due time you will, you need to get your priority straight. You cant babysit two at a time. You need to determine who need to be taken care first. I know babies cry most of the time but you don't need to go to them every time. You need to endure this for a while longer. Just think about how happy you are when your gave birth to them. It doesn't hurt to ask someone to help you.
