My mass Building routine for you guys!  | | Seen as its dead in here I will post a Mass Building routine that I designed. I designed this routine for my friend, but I'll share with you guys. Okay I know, I always argue for people to only train 3-4 days a week for Mass Building. I always hae the principle of each workout should centre around the main compound movements and keeping isolation excercises to the minimum. This is to achieve maximum muscle growth. I believe in compounds.And Yes I know I dont usually get people to train small muscles groups directly such as the bicps and triceps. As i feel the compound movements would cover them. But this routine has been given some great thought, and I like it. the main priniciple behind this one is spreadin each body part over 5 days. However I would only recomend guys who train often to do this. I wouldnt recomend everybody especially beginners to be doing this. The weakness in this routine I have forumlated is, maybe we maybe putting too much stress on the biceps, triceps and shoulders. As some of these body parts are covered when training the chest and back. That is the sole reason I think abit more advanced trainers use this routine as their body can recover quicker and thus be able to work under the pressure. Here is goes: Monday: Chest Bench Press 4x 8 (alternate with Incline Press every other week in terms of sets, i.e 4 sets then following wk 3 sets) Incline Dumbell Press 3x 8 Weighted Dips 4 x 8 (failure)
Tuesday: Back Deadlifts 3 x8 Barbel rows 4x 8 Pulldowns (wide grip) 4x 8
Wednesday: shoulders Side laterals 4 sets 10x6 reps Front presses or Dbell presses 4 sets10x6 reps Rear delt raises 4 sets 10x8 reps shrugs 3 sets x 8reps
Thursday: Arms Barbel Curls 3 x 8 Hammer curls 2 x 8 Close Grip Bench press 3x 8 Skull crushers 2 x 8 Rope pulldowns 1x 8 (okay I know its heavy workout for such small muscle groups, but honestly I think it would work)
Friday: Legs Squats 3 sets x8 Lunges 3 sets x8 Leg Curls 3 sets x8 Calve raises 4 sets x8
Sauturday, Sunday: Relax and bake cookies. Or think of how Uncle England Male is today. Routine made by England Male
