Some nations ve started off wit this concept or Do Not Call list If ur no is in that list..The telemareters r not supposed to call ya If they do..You can file a complaint againt the telemarketing company n you get compensated:)

Direct telemarkting calls drive everybody crazy, not just you, lol! There is a National Do Not Call registry that you can call to request having your name put on it. This means that once your phone number is placed on the do not call list, telemarketers are not to call you without consequences. If they DO call you after you're on the list, there are steps that can further be taken.
