I really do not like hunting as a sport but I have heard that for certain animals it helps keep the population from getting too big.
I have never been hunting and don't think I ever will. I just don't find fun in killing anything.

That is for a different reason though, otherwise like 50% of the population of the deer starve to death and its better to not let them starve. | |
