No answer, ok i tell you a little ... he is a guitarist, he played taditional blues style like Albert King, Freddie King, Lonnie Mack & others but added his own style to it to give it a more fresh and excitment. He´s playing was very
energetically and he was a big Jimi Hendrix fan too.
He started his own band in the 70´s called "Double Trouble", who had a few records out in the 80´s and he played with David Bowie ( do you know the LP "Let´s dance" ).
He died in a helicopter that crushed down in 1990 during a tour.
So íf you like to hear Blues then you should listen to it.

ps. LP´s i know are Texas flood, couldn´t stand the weather, in step (won a grammy), soul to soul, the sky is crying ...

Yes that´s right but it´s often in that way. But really nice that there are still fans out there for his music and his incredible style in playing the blues guitar, thanks a lot.

Oh yes Voodoo Chile is awesome and the others songs he covered from Hendrix are also great. That´s great that who two listen him. I thought when i put up the discussion there must be some fans or fanatics of him out there, but it took a time.

I just love his guitar playing. I have a concert where he played in germany on videotape and every time i watch it and he plays the Tin Pan Alley i have tears in my eyes, he´s improvising is absolutley full of great emotions i just love it.

He is amazing. We watched a PBS special on him about a year ago. His finger strokes on the guitar are absolutely like poetry in motion.

Have you ever listened to Joe Satriani? He is another fantastic guitar player...some of his stuff is bluesy, but he has a very unique style all his own. Thank you friend.

Yes Satriani i listen for some years he´s also a very natural player it´s not just the technique that makes him great.
He composed beautiful instrumental guitar music, i have some records of him. I don´t know right now the name but he made one record with a real bluesy touch and it´s recorded live, i love that albbum.

Yes yes yes, great songs you picked, i remember when i saw him the first time i think it was round ´86 i thought wooohhh how is this guy he´s marvelous. He also has some tunes they go a little into jazz, like them very.
Well i´m out then till tomorow staying at my mums home for christmas.

Yeah.. he really was great... maybe you know the songs (Couldn´t Stand The Weather, Scuttle Buttin´, Cold shot or his Thin Pan Alley version is absolutly awesome).

Yes, greetings mate haven´t spoken to you for longer time, well i was much bizzy and i looked today the first time into myLot for about 4 weeks. It´s cool i found a video on youtube from his performance at the Montreux festival in 1982 and i have that on record for years, i think i bought it round 1987 great to see it in motion. Special Texas Flood sounds great and is How have you been the last weeks Jay???

Yes i think your right about that, so to come back on some music talking i got a quite good programm on the net for free it´s a little like the Guitar Pro, it´s called Power Tab Editor, so i can stop writing down notes with my hand..LOL.. i wanted to order the Guitar Pro Tool but somehow i had problems with how to pay, but this programm i have know is just fine for me. I composed some new stuff the last weeks and worked with it to just put in the arrangement of the song and then sent it to our female singer by mail so she could work on her vocals, that´s a great thing i never used something like that befor ..haha... all work was made in the practice-room, well that saves time.

Yes i have power tab, but the free version, it works fine just for playing & learning stuff. Best of both worlds now having both programs :)

Yes, well the Guitar Pro tool was really great for the 15 days of trying period but as i said didn´t relly know how to order or to say how to pay it. I just sent you a mail with a new Instrumental tune i arranged with the Power Tab tool and it worked great for me. It´s a Midi-File hope you like it have a listen on it, we are parcticing this tune next week.

I can't listen until later when I get home, but as for buying guitar pro, I bought mine with paypal, easy enough.

A yes i get the myLot payment into paypal, i guess there´s not enough in it to pay the Software... as useuall broke...ha.. so can i put money from my bank account into paypal or do you need someting special to do this???

You have to link your bank account to paypal, it's all explained in paypal. then you can fund & withdraw to your bank account any time you wish

Ok.. cool i will check this out and then think over geting the other guitar tool, by the way i got this learning tool on the net for free called Ear Pro 5, also a great thing on practicing have you tryed it??? I mostly use it to get the sound of specific chords into ear & mind.

I've not done much lately, I suffer from RSI (repetitive strain injury) so my hands haven't been to good :(

Oh that´s really bad to hear but sure you still play, i don´t have RSI but i worked to much with my hands in bad jobs and sometimes my wrist and fingers feel sore. I have these small heavy balls for training at the moment i forgot how they are called you sure know what i mean.

All my stuff is packed away, I have no access to it atm, I had a lot stored on my last computer but the hard drive blew & I lost it all so you'll just have to be patient :P

Oh man that´s a damn with the computers, i´m glad i have my best stuff original on tapes. So, ok no problem I am a patient guy so i just wait and see. Get to hear the Power Tab midi-file i sent you and give me a note what you think.
