 I was trying to say that where I live this happens to me all the time and it is nasty older men staring at me and I am only 19 and I do not wear makeup I do not fix my hair I do not dress sexy in fact I try to dress so they won't look and try to put jackets but truth is I am getting afraid to go anywhere without my husband . This happens every day on the streets and on the bus.. men staring at me, looking at me with this lecherous evil stares, trying to hit on me, trying to get me in their car - and they are 10, 20, even 30 years older than me!!This even happened with a family member of my husbands.. we went to a family party and this person had just moved here from Mexico and was watching me the whole entire time even though my husband was RIGHT THERE!! In fact he was watching us EAT and even when I would give my husband a KISS I would see that he was WATCHING!! Then later I said I don't like this let's go outside and I told my husband what was going on. My husband went inside to go to the bathroom and this guy came outside to stare at me and my husband's cousins who are as young as NINE years old!! Later he came looking for us again and saw me with my husband and went back inside!! I was like WTF and my husbands little cousins told me he looks at them all the time too.. I was so sick and disgusted..
I cry many times over this .. not just this man but all these men.. it is such a power thing.. the only thing i can do is try to ignore it and keep my head high not meeting their eyes but not looking down and letting them win either.
The thing I hate just as much is all these girls that encourage it. These girls that dress all nasty in the streets, these prostitues, strippers, girls in the club rubbing themselves on strangers d***s and going home with strangers to have sex with them and make them expect that crap from all women!! I HATE it!!! I HATE IT!!! Sometimes I cry so much I hate all men sometimes and is making me hate sex and see it as such an evil thing because all i see every day out here in L.A. is EVIL MEN. I am a VERY good reader of people and I can tell by looking at someone what kind of person they are and half the people I see on the streets I can just see evil in their eyes and the looks they give are like an ANIMAL. I can tell right away when someone is bad. This man that is family member I saw him once before this incident and got a bad feeling RIGHT AWAY. I have never had problem with my husband's family before even though some of them are just like this man - young, just moved here from Mexico, drink alot, etc. but they are not like this man is. I went into my cousins house where I feel comfortable and before I even saw this strange man was there I could FEEL something wrong in the house and when I saw him I just immediately walked into my cousins hallway and literally hiding from this man I was not expecting to see anyone there and that day my husband was not with me so I knew he was 100 percent checking me out but not just normal checking me out I know the difference that I do not mind. I see worse than this. This man was pure evil - raping kind of evil. I forgot about him until this second time I came with my husband and he was watching. THen I also asked the other girls and I see I was right.. However when I told my mother-in-law she got MAD and told me I was CRAZY just because he had a wife in kids (back home in Mexico I might add) like that solved everything and he can't be evil if he has kids.. Then later one she just said "oh he had a lot to drink" as if that made it all ok! PLUS he wasn't even drinking! He was sober..
Let me add I am not talking about most of you on here. I am not talking about all men .. most are innocent.. MOST of the men I meet at work and at school are fine.. it is these low-lifes on the street and on the bus that I encounter in Los Angeles and in Downtown when I am coming from work. I realize all men check women out. Fine. But I am upset over the dark, evil, perverted men who want to rape every woman they see. There is more evil out there than we know and for some reason my eyes seem to catch it everywhere I go I am very perceptive..

I'm surprised that the man you mentioned had such nerve! Especially with your husband right there with you, he musn't have had any fear of getting punched or something, either that or he's pretty dense. I've been lucky and in my area, I've never had this kind of situation happen to me. This sounds pretty creepy though! I think I'd be afraid to even leave my house if I noticed guys being like this (or should I say grandpas)??!!

I can't stand to see these men who are old enough to be her father or even grandfather stare at her and they just don't look they are completely undressing her with their stares. She just ignores it and doesn't really even seem to notice. She doesn't dress provocatively either. They should have respect for women and especially if they are a lot younger then them. Makes me mad just to think about it.

I mean of course it happens every where but from the places I lived, Cleveland,Ohio and Virg. Beach, VA everyone seems decent enought out here. Even though jobs are hard to find there are some here in VA and all over. Think about it. A move may be a good thing.

| 6. michele609 (1382) | 3 years ago |  I live in a horrible town were females like that attention they dress in the slezzist things and they wear so much makeup you would think that they are viedo girls, but they like the attention and that makes it bad for us females because they think that since 1 girl likes the attention then all of us do, so men like that are part of my daily life which is horrible. There is reall y not much you can do about it but ignore it or try to distant yourself away from it which is sometimes hard. My finacee is a little bit differnt then you husband, he gets very upset and sometimes trys to start trouble but me personally dont agree that its worth it. I just do what you do and try to cover myself up and respect myself but in some cases it turns men on more so there is noway out of it. My little sister is one of them females that like that attention and I cant stand it she will be walkind down the street with it all hanging out and almost causes accidents in the streets which is part if her fault and the preverts. I can not agree with you more on this subject but sad to say there is nothing you can do about it!
