have anyone been to south american?

i'm really glad to see someone actually plans to go to south america, since most of the people only mention western europe as a travel plan. i felt like a freak for wanting to visit mexico, and if everything goes like i planned i will be able to visit it in a year or so. i know that geographically it doesn't exactly fit to south america but mexico is the place to go, at least for me. i could experience their traditional foods and maybe drink some tequilla while dancing, coz they are a nation of dancers, music is everywhere (ranchera, salsa, merengue, mariachi, cumbia alot of styles to be found). they also have nice destinations to relax, such as acapulco, or cuernavaca the city of eternal spring as it is called. and u could also includ some historical destinations. u could visit the great pyramid of cholula, el castillo (the castle) - or the spectacular step-pyramid of Yucatán, or maybe the greatest non-Catholic Christian temple in Latin America, La Luz del Mundo (the light of the world) of guadalajara

No, unfortunately I never went to South America, maybe, one day, who knows? So I am sorry, but I cannot give you any idea.

I'm going to Peru for a week on the 21st, I've never been, but I'll let you know how it went when I get back!
