Is it just me

I think it was a really bad year and the last few have been really cruddy. I'm glad that Bush is almost out of office and his daddys war can be over. The past few years have been this way with 9/11 which was also his fault anyhow its almost over. Happy New Year

2006 was the worst and best year of my life. I nearly died, but didn't, therefore I was given what to me amounts as a second chance..I have completely changed my outlook, my lifestyle, tolerance, think of other before myself. In fact I don't even know me anymore!!

I think that the year could have been a LOT better but at the same time I also think it could have been a LOT worse! Our town dealt with 2 tornado's, 5 teen suicides with a very short period of time, and other personal stuff has happened this year. But good things happened here too this year and we're grateful for those things. We hope that 2007 will definetly be a better year for everyone. Its the beginning of the 2nd day of the year, we shall see.

but you are so right about 2006 and you can also add 2005 and 2004 to the list too!
I have been waiting for a better day for the last 3 years!

2004

1. I found out that my oldest son is diabetic
2. our insurance changed and now it pays for nothing!
3. my husband was promoted to a supervisor (sounds good eh?) well it was a 900.00 a month cut in pay as there is no more over time and he gets paid once a darn month!
4. my car tore up and the only way to fix it was to buy a new one, now the payment is outrageous!

2005
1. my cousin (who is like a brother to me) was murdered by his wife.. although NC has little to no idea about law enforcement his murder was never investigated and they lost the gun they were going to send off for tests! his murderer is still free!

2. insurance company changes again! now it's worse! higher co-pays and with a diabetic this means an extra 200.00 in medical supplies each month!!!

3. I'm too depressed to even continue on with this year!

2006
1. my niece died at the age of 21 from something as stupid as the flu! she was in the hospital with kidney infection and after being in there 2 days she was better then because some nurses don't know about washing their stupid hands before examining a patient, she caught the flu and died!

2. my insurance changed yet again!! now we are even more broke than before!

3. I hate my new car! and hate the payment even worse!

4. my sister calls me everyday crying and I can't help because I am crying more. we miss Mandy.

5. my washing machine is being held together by a prayer and duct tape!

6. I started a new job which I quit when they told me that I couldn't go pick up my diabetic kid from school because he was having a bad Insulin reaction.. I told them to shove it and left!

7. back to monthly pay check only.. and by the end of the month we are fighting over the Cheeto that I found under the couch cushion! there is too much month left at the end of money!

8. I am so depressed that it hurts physically!

9. I lost my best friend over something stupid.

10. my daughter's beloved cat died just what she needed after already losing so much.

it wasnt a great one for me however the one before was worse i am a katrina survivor and that was my worst year ever!
