Has anyone ever seen a Mermaid, Shapeshifter, or a Fairy?  

Wow I had an experience almost like that. About a month ago there was this snail I was about to swallow(because I was bored) and it gave me 3 wishes to spare it! So my first wish was for infinite wishes!

You may have been astral travelling in your dream which is why you took on the form of another being. Perhaps the panther was a useful form for that journey. There are means and ways of doing so again if you are interested, it depends on how strong your visualisation skills are.
The ability to shapeshift can be very useful when you are doing shamanic journeying or astral traveling. If you come across a place where there is no way to continue because of a huge chasm you may choose to take on the form of a hawk or if you find a place too small to enter, become a mouse.

I have to say I have never seen a mermaid or any other sort of creature, but have done a few rituals and meditations in my time. :Dbb

When I was younger I saw grass fairies... or pixies. I also saw a lady in the mirror all the time. It was weird. A few of my friends saw her too.

I've seen ... something... extremely tall skinny people... that only a few others could see. I wasn't on drugs, drunk, sick or anything. I was in my own bed but I was also in another place where a gathering was going on... IT was weird.

acid is bad for you. either that or the glare from the neon lights are affecting your perceptions. or....

you had a psyckic relapse and reverted back to your primitive animal state and your metamorphic consciousness reverted itself. in other words you shapeshifted. but this cannot happen without proper stress or activation. such things normally need a lot of parasupernatural activity to be in activation for them to occur. and always stress.

I have seen fairies all of my life. When I was a child they were my "imaginary friends" and for a while in my teens I pretended not to see them. When I became active in Wicca in my 20's I acknowleged them again.

already posted on your topic about shapeshifting, so i will avoid that here. but i DO have a big interest in mermaids. i don't really believe they exist, but i am fascinated by them. when i was little one of my favorite stories was the little mermaid by hans christian anderson. it was heartbreaking :(

i have never managed to do this but have been privallaged on one occasion to see it happen. Let me tell you my story. Im a witch, and i undertake rituals regularly but i am also a university teacher. One residential school i was teaching at a few years ago attracted a youngish woman who attatched herself to me from the first day, we socialised together and, as our time progressed she made it clear to me that she wanted to be more than a friend, in short we slept together. While making love she whispered to me that she could change into anything i wanted her to be, I smiled at her but infront of my eyes her face and body changed into a much younger woman. She told me she was my gift and that i had to enjoy her, i certainly did but as we woke together she kissed me and said she would never see me again, and she never did. I cant explain what happened but it remains a fascinating example of shape shifting
