| |  Slam dunk story begins with Hanamichi Sakuragi, a new high school student who hated basketball because he had failed for 49 times in confessing his love to the girls at the junior high school. Almost all the girls that he confessed to already like someone at the basketball club, that's why he hate basketball. And then a girl named Haruko Akagi met him for the 1st time and misjudged Sakuragi for being a basketball player due to his appearance. Thus, in order to get Haruko's attention (he don't want to fail again) Sakuragi registered to be a member of his new high school basketball team. Then the story becomes hotter since he met his rival (due to a stupid accident), Kaede Rukawa, then funnier and greater story continues.... JUST READ OR WATCH IT !
