I watched it yesterday and I thought it was great. I was actually surprised because I didn't want to see it. I thought the story was incrediable. I think it's M. Night Shyamalan's best movie since "The Sixth Sense". Well maybe since "Unbreakable" - that was really good too. While I was watching "The Lady" I could just imagine that if it were a book I would have read it. Does anyone know if the myth about the sea nymps from the movie is a real myth?

I have to say that I really enjoyed 'The Lady in the Water.' The plot of this movie is very intriguing. Yes, part of it is to discover a child's myth, but I still found myself wanting to know what the story was. I don't think we see this type of movie very often, not in the way that M. Night Shyamalan presents it, at any rate. Which I think makes it all the more interesting. What helped as well was how the actors presented the story and their characters.
