ronaldinu (1008) | 2 years ago | "To Kill a Mockingbird is a 1960 novel by Harper Lee, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1961. Lee's only novel, a coming-of-age story, is told from the point of view of Jean Louise "Scout" Finch, the young daughter of Atticus Finch, a lawyer in Maycomb, Alabama, a fictional small town in the Deep South of the United States. She is accompanied by her brother Jem and their mutual friend Dill." From Wikipedia. This book discusses issues such as racial discrimination. It's a book that iread when i was a student. I read it another couple of times

3. ronaldinu (1008) | 2 years ago | I do like this novel because the issues raised by the author are still relevant. One can't say that racial discrimination has been eliminated in all countries. I like the style the author narrates the story from the perspective of a young girl.

5. rekhum (928) | 1 year ago | I read this wonderful book a decade back.I appreciated its contents. They say the subject of the book, namely the injustice of racism and inequality in the American South, was highly relevant at the time of its publication. And harper Lee wrote this book during a highly racially tense time in her home state of Alabama. I like this book as it help jogs back the days when i was growing up with my kid sister. She was exactly like 'Scout',the character in the book. And Dill is like one of my childhood buddy.
