 I am a classical music fan since i was a child. My dad introduced us to this music genre and it stuck. There are researchers that have determined that listening to Mozart actually makes you smarter. When they held reseaches on the effect of Mozart music to students taking examinations, the result shows that the scores of those who listened to Mozart while studying were a little higher that those who did not listen to him. This is what they call Mozart effect. Do you listen to this type of music? If so, what is its effect on you?

I played it for my kids since they were born so they would sleep easier..sometimes it would take time for them to get to sleep..but by 6 mos they were used to it. Now they are 6 yrs old & 3 & they know the routine of going to sleep & the classical music..I hope they love it as much as I do.
but everyone who knew me when I was younger(even now)..knew that sometimes they would catch me jammin out 2 classical music, other days classic rock,heavy metal..r&b..pop, spanish rock, celtic, new age., perusian, electronica,,house,,alll sorts...I cant just listen to one type of music. I think there are many,many, types of music & songs that I like.

4.  rainbow (3928) | 3 years ago |  My dad listens to classical music and usually retunes my car radio every morning. I can't tell you who composed what but I quite enjoy it as background music and it's sort of a part of my dad too.
I find it calming in the car, but don't usually listen to it at home or if Shrek is in the car as he prefers dance music.
