Anyone that has asthma that takes Zolair have any side effects?

I am getting ready to take zolair for my asthma, recently its been getting worse, I don't know if its because of my move from North Carolina to Pennsylvania or what, but I am having to use my rescue inhalers more often, I take acculate and zertec but it doesn't seem to be improving anything. Lately my doctor discussed with me the possibility of taking this new drug a once a month shot of zolair (spelling?) I have never had allergy shots, or anything similiar before. If anyone has takin this drug or has children who get the shots, please discuss in here, if you experienced any side effects, if the drug works well, how long until there were noticable results thanks.
