"Shakespeare in Love": a true story?

There is absolutly no proof that it is true. He did have a wife that lived in another city, but many scholars debate whether ro not Shakespeare even wrote his plays. He had a reading level of an eighth grader and in many of the original manuscripts he wrote they found that the spelling in his name changed from time to time. One time it would be the way we know it as Shakespeare, but it would also be shakspere, and shakespear. Some scholars believed it was another famous writer of that time named Christopher Marlow writing under a penname. So I don't see how "Shakespeare in Love" can be proven true if they don't even know if Shakespeare wrote anything. Hope I helped.
