Is it possible to remove a disk manually from a dvd player?  |

 My dvd player seems to be out of order and there's one disk in it... I have read the instructions and it says nothing about that. I want to buy a new player, not to repair the old one. Is there some way to rescue the trapped disk?

| 4. jamie11982 (837) | 3 years ago |  yes if you take out all of the screws and then take the case off take out the dvd and then put the case back on and the screws back in. Try unplugging it and then waiting a few minutes and then plug it back in. After that turn it on and click the open button asap and hope that it opens. If this doesn't happen then take a slim knife and gently pry open the door. Hopefully the dvd will be able to come out after that. Good luck

That is one small hole will be there near by front panel of DVD player. Insert small pin into it. DVD will come out. This works for me. Even my friend this and he is successful.
