risk is good or not in life?????

Absolutely. Without risks we can have no failure and with out failure we can have no success. We must learn some how.

Risks and taking them is good, not just good but very very good. When a person takes risks, the individual can prove a lot of things to the world and to him/herself. One, he/she can prove that he/she can do it (whatever is the risk being taken); second, she/he will know her/his limitations, that is, whether she/he can do it or not; third, taking the risk is a way to measure one's decision-making abilities and one's options in life. There is just one thing that one needs to bear in mind -- it has to be a "calculated" risk and not taking risk just for the heck of it. By calculated, it means before taking such, one has ready alterntives lined up just in case things wont work out as planned. It also means being ready to face the consequences and getting out of the situation a better person and not a scarred individual afraid of life and afraid of taking chances. As it is, life is very much like a game of poker, you loose some, you win some. Its not so much if you win or loose, its how you play the game that really matters!
