How do you meet someone?

Some say church is the best place to meet a mate. But I would be fearful that the person would not b as adventurous or would end up preaching to me and turning me into the church police if I said something wrong. Some say the grocery store because you see a person as what one is like everyday. But I can say that I have been stalked by a guy in a grocery store...it made me feel very uncomfortable and would never give him the time of day. LOL Some say work because you have similar interests and grievances. But just think that if it doesn't work out, now your personal business is spread through the office and I am sure they would exaggerate to the negative. You would be looking for another job because you would want to be getting away from the wagging tongues. Bar are not the best place...it is just a meat market of people looking for a quick meaningless relationship for the night and then you may be taking on someone with a partying issue...not exactly mate qualities. I am beginning to think the best place to meet a person is through the internet. Yes, people feed you a bunch of lies about themselves. But there are many that feel more open to reveal themselves because they are hiding behind the keyboard. However, if you know that person is open and honest and can create a meaningful relationship online...meaning in person could be the best thing that could happen. Hence, your best mate/match. :) The only problem with that theroy is that person could also be an ax murder! LOL So you best meet in a very public place and stay in that public place until you are very certain about that person. :)

i think, two people meeting for the first time should meet up for coffee or somehing in a public place with little noise. that way they are sure they are in a safe place.. just incase your mate turns out to be maniac.. *grin*.. just joking. sit in a peaceful place and talk.
