can someone help me what to do if you were in this kind of situation...

i have known this guy for so long since high school and he was my second boy friend ive ever had and its before over 12 years and i am still inlove with him and he loves me yet we are both in different relationships and the reason why we ended it was because we were in different countries. he is in the philippines and i am in las vegas. the person i am with now... doesn't show me love and makes me feel like i have to be the one to save the relationship... the question is... should i keep saving the relationship with my with love or go back to my past love:)
