How can you find holiday romance?

I have definitely been there before. We can wishfully think that if we say something funny, are wearing a cute outfit, have shiny and fabulous hair, that as soon as we walk by and flash a smile that the guy we have a crush on will immediately notice, turn their head and ask us out. Sounds perfect! Back to the real world…though a great outfit and witty comment helps, unfortunately, the only way they’ll see if there is real chemistry and attraction is by communicating. Don’t leave it up to him. Try striking up a conversation with him. Don’t worry about trying to flirt or being funny, just be yourself. If you’re nervous, just visualize that you’re talking to one of your good friends or a friendly co-worker.
Talk about the same things you’d talk with any of them about. If there is chemistry and attraction, it’s often very often obvious through subtle physical clues that are only apparent to the two of you – the way you may lean in a little closer while talking, the subtle eye glances followed with an extra long smile. You may feel like everyone in the world notices, but the reality is they don’t. They don’t know that your heart starts beating 20 beats faster the moment your crush walked in the room or that you have butterflies in your stomach. They are pre-occupied with their own interests and their own crushes. So just relax, don’t worry about if others will notice and just simply take the initiative by striking up a casual conversation.
