Half sport half art,gymnastics test the ability of the human body,using various equipment and are as old as the games itself.Events include pole vault,parallel bar,uneven bar and high bar.Gymnastics for men usually focus on power and speed whereas events for women emphasise grace and art of movement.While many people participate in a number of Olympic sports,such as running,basketball and swimming,there are relatively few gymnasts.However,gymnastics is a very popular spectator sport.

Gymnastics is not only a spectator sport, i do gymnastics myself and it is the biggest sport in Belgium: The gymnastics federation gymfed has even more people than the belgian soccerfederation and the belgian tennisfederation!

oh,really?you are a gymnastics athlete?yes,i like gymnastics,but i do not do myself, i would like to watch the competition on TV set,and it is much wonderful.it is a popular sport in our country,and there are many good athletes here.
