Thank you! It like i'm not the only one who feel this way. I'm tired of it too. If there life was so challenging than why are they wasting time on mylot instead of getting out there and getting a job. mylot is not even a residue or second income. Its something fun to do and you get paid little. I would like to know who is making a living on here. If they are than they have sore hands and is partly blind. Stop being lazy people and make a living.

some people live with other people and use their computer or are students and use them at school. Thats about it and the public library too.

They could be going to a public library. However, there is usually a one hour limit. Or in many countries there are internet businesses that you pay by the hour for using their computers and using the internet. Then there is the possibility that they are using someone elses computer or using the computer at their jobs. The last possibility is that they are lying. Who knows? I understand where you are coming from because I have thought the same thing.

I'm here to earn for myself basic needs not for our major commodities. My husband had a work. I'm here to improve my self in vocabulary. My lil' spare of time, I spend it in here instead of gossiping my neighbor's life, ain't better?

Well that depends on your location. Here in our country, if you have knowledge in computer hardware, you could set-up your own pc system. Spare parts are cheaper here. With regards to the internet connection, we have here lots of options. for middle income earners, we have a low cost dsl connection with a speed of up to 384 kbps which is fast enough for all their surfing and gaming needs. for low income earners we have a post paid and prepaid dial up connections which is cheaper by 60 to 80% than the DSL. For people who dont have their own computer, we have lots of cyber cafe's here which costs very cheap. Cyber cafe is a booming business here actually.

I agree with this opinion, I worked as a bill collector for several years and I got into some pretty heated debates with people online about how they felt they shouldn't have to hear from bill collectors when they had enough troubles in their lives ... my advice to them was "Well perhaps if you eliminated some bills such as your internet service, the additional expense of AOL (my primary provider of service ... before it was free) and other such luxuries, perhaps it would be easier to resolve some of the debt that collectors were calling to get handled" I will admit I am at a point where I am struggling financially to some extent, but I will also say that as I access the computer from my mom's house while visiting with her which I do on a weekly basis ... she Can afford her internet service and I have my own computer that I use when I am here, which was a Christmas present given to me last year. I got my daughters' computer and my sisters' computer for free, off of Craigslist. I paid $109.00 for mine, including a keyboard, monitor and mouse, from a used computer store, and I pay about $35.00 a month for my high speed internet access. I am an eBay seller, and work two jobs from home. In many cases, people with even a minimum knowledge of computers can use their computers to make money at home. No, I don't do sales...but give me a high speed internet access and a phone, and I'll work anywhere! I barely make ends meet...and no-one out there could convince or make me sell my computer.

Just because you may not make enough money, doesn't mean you're not working. I pay my bills, in full and on time...but barely, and I can certainly see how some people would have trouble. It's not up to me to judge, or to tell others how to prioritize. This is a great topic...thanks for bring it up!

I also wondered about this then thought that they probably bought the computer before falling on the bad times and now are seeking jobs on computer and may be one partner is working and they are living off them. Probably in other countries net is cheaper than what it is in India as I find my sisters com always hooked to net even when they are out shopping, she lives in Canada. May be there net is cheaper.

I so agree with you, you will NEVER make a living on mylot. You will be lucky to make 20 bucks a month, I do about 10, it pays for my dial up..............
