television and our lives

it doesnt enrich our lives it just gives us something to do

playing dumb games....actually it cant

It educates us, I know I learn something new everyday.

It can be educational; people can learn about other countries and cultures or even learn a new language or get their high school equivalence certificate.

Of course, there's also a lot of junk on TV and the shows that get the highest ratings are anything but educational!

Television can either be good or bad, depending on the programs that we decide to see.
Generally, there are not a lot of very good programs, so we must be very selective with it.
News programs are okay in order to be informed. Or we can watch films or series to have a good time. But the most interesting thing could be watching documentals for learning about things and educational programs. There are also some good contests, a few of them can seem a little simple (just questions and answers) but you can learn a lot of things with them.
