Hi folks, who would like to just jot down his or her favorite chili recipe, my hubby and myself are chiliheads and simply love that stuff. There must be more than pickled chilis and chili con carne.......

1 small can tomato paste
3 15 ounce cans of tomato paste
1 can large stewed tomatos
1 large green pepper*diced*
1 onion*diced*
3 jalepeno peppers*diced*
1lb ground beer or chopped steak
2tsp chili powder
1 can kidney or red beans


brown beef or steak along with peppers and onions.

drain grease

stir in rest, put beans in last.

Eat and Enjoy!

Here's one I have in my collection for you!

Its called Lentil Chili

Ingredients

2 lbs. Lentils
Water, pre-heated
3 Chipotle Peppers, stems removed
5-6 Cloves Garlic, crushed
1 Onion, large, chopped (approx. 2 cups)
2 Tbsp. Cumin, ground
2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 Tbsp. Basil, dried
1 28-oz. can Tomatoes, crushed
1 6-oz. can Tomato Paste
1 lb. Corn, kernels, frozen
1 cup Bell Pepper, diced

Preparation

Prepare lentil chili in a 6-1/2 quart slow cooker to ensure that the lentils are soft and the flavors are thoroughly blended. It takes about 6 to 8 hours to finish cooking. Start making your lentil chili early in the morning so that it is ready for late afternoon or evening. If you are using a smaller slow cooker, cut the recipe in half.

Begin by pre-heating 6 cups of water to boiling and pour into the slow cooker which is set on "high."

Clean and rinse the lentils. Add to the Crock Pot.

Place the chipotle peppers in a blender container with 1 cup of water. Peel the garlic and add to the blender. Cover and run blender at high speed until the peppers and garlic are pureed. We heat this mixture in our microwave oven to boiling. Pour the contents of the blender container into a heat resistant pot or bowl, rinse the blender container with another cup of water, and heat the liquid to boiling. Add to the crock pot.

Peel and dice the onions, wash and dice the Bell pepper, and add to the crock pot.

Heat the frozen corn with the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste until hot, and add to the crock pot. Add the seasoning. If you are leaving the crock pot unattended, I suggest lowering the heat setting to "low."

If you prefer your lentil chili more like a soup (thinner), add additional hot water, as desired.

Serve with a large tossed salad and enjoy!

Slow cooker no bean chili

2 pounds lean ground beef, or cubed lean stew beef (I use a combination of both)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz) can stewed tomatoes
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or more

Brown beef in a large skillet; drain well. Combine with remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.

I absolutely love making chili as well! I know that it's one of the things that I find I make around the house quite often. It's not only an easy dish to make, but it's affordable as well & doesn't end up taking to much time in the kitchen to make. I included the recipe that we use on a regular basis just in case you are interested. Thank you for allowing me to share. xx

"Chili."

Ingredients are as follows:

- A pound of ground beef

- 1/4 cup of diced onion

- 3 cloves of garlic

- 1 can of kidney beans

- 3 tablespoons of chili powder

- 1 can of manwich or tomato sauce (whichever you prefer)

- 2-3 stems of celery

- Then a little bit of shredded cheese to include or to mix in with the rest of the ingredients. As well grate some more cheese towards the end to put on the top when the dish is done being cooked.

Directions are:

- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Also include the: onion & garlic while cooking the ground beef. Drain the excess fat as you go as well.

- Then transfer the ground beef to a large saucepan. Or pot. Then stir in the remaining ingredients & bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat, & cover for a half n hour.. To make sure that the celery isn't all to crunchy. Unless you like crunchy celery.. In that case if you want the celery to be crunchy just simmer everything for 10 - 15 minutes or at least until heated through. Then serve, & ENJOY! . .

hi try for this

find a chili tuna --chili tuna in the can
some mayonaise
some black pepper
an egg --but just use half of it
tomato souce
chili souce

heat a pan but don't put any oil in. just use the can chili tuna ( cuz it's already in oil). add the mayonaise, tomato and chili souce. mix all them well and some black pepper and put the egg. mix all the well and wait for 1 or 2 minutes. it's ready and it's very nice for your sandwich!!
