|  In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods.
1-On a Sears's hairdryer: *Do not use while sleeping.* (and that's the only time I have to work on my hair).
2-On a bag of Fritos:*You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details**inside.* (the shoplifter special)?
3-On a bar of Dial soap: *"Directions: Use like regular soap." *(and that would be how???....)
4-On some Swanson frozen dinners:*"Serving suggestion: Defrost." *(but, it's "just" a suggestion).
5-On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): *"Do not turn upside down." *(well...duh, a bit late, huh)!
6-On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding*:"Product will be hot after heating."*(...and you thought????...)
7-On packaging for a Rowenta iron: *"Do not iron clothes on body." *(but wouldn't this save me more time)?
8-On Nytol Sleep Aid: *"Warning: May cause drowsiness." *(and...I'm taking this because???....)
9-On most brands of Christmas lights: *"For indoor or outdoor use only." *(as opposed to...what)?
10-On a Japanese food processor: *"Not to be used for the other use." *(now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.)
11-On Sunbury's peanuts: *"Warning: contains nuts."*(talk about a news flash)
12-On an American Airlines packet of nuts: *"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." *(Step 3: maybe, uh...fly Delta?)
13-On a child's superman costume: *"Wearing of this garment does not enable you**to fly." *(I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.)

| |  I would be more apt to comment had you not directly written this list from the millions of other copies of it floating around the internet, maybe had you at least compiled a few lists into one or soemthing... but whatever thats your decision
Maybe someone will see all this for the first time and be amused....
This is my rant, im soo tired of seeing people copy other peoples work...arg

| |  they are all funny. i often have a chuckle too with labels on things. the cogs in my tired brain are working overtime now trying to think of some, but alas, think brain has gone to sleep already! d'oh! maybe i'll come back to this post another time when i have had a chance to think of some!

| |  You what is sad. People dont think twice about those labels. Because it is so common to read on our products to most it makes perfect sence. I agree it it is obivous that we should/shouldent do these things but there are some who need those directions.

| |  Hi! Sometimes I wonder about the people who write those directions! When we bought our toddler bed, at KMart, and tried to put it together, the directions were in broken english and very badly written. They actually stated that if we didn't have the directions, stop working on the bed and call an 800 number. How could we do that if we didn't have the directions???? Duh!
