Woo Hoo!!! George Strait!!!

I listened to him a lot in college. But haven't heard any of his recent songs.

I never listen to country music and had no idea who this was until my brother called and said he was playing back-up drums with him in Texas. Well this meant nothing to me, because I had no idea who George Strait was, I just thought it was some local guy in Texas that the Texans liked. When my brother explained to me who he was I decided to listen to some of his music and I really kinda liked it. It wasn't too bad for country. But I never listen to him or any other country muscians.

I love George Strait! I've seen in him concert a few years ago. He will be back in Lafayette, LA in January. I probably won't make the show unless I win tickets because they sold out first day!

George Strait, the epitome of country music. Have been enjoying his work since I first saw him in Pure Country. This man has had something like 50 number one songs. Who says Elvis is king?

Well, I'm one of the women with the major hots for George! It seems the older he gets, the better looking he gets. I love his music too. He has had so many songs that have touched me in some way. I can't think of one song he has had that I don't like. He also sounds better in person than on radio and TV. That doesn't happen with many artists. He is just an all-around wonderful entertainer!!

I love George Strait i think that he is an amazing ARtist my one of my favorite songs of his is I Cross My Heart..That would have to be one of my favs..along with that would be the song i would like to play on my wedding.

I love George. He's been my favorite singer for over 15 years. He's had more #1 songs than any other artist in any genre of music, but is still grossly underrated and unknown outside of country music. I think that's a shame. He should get far more praise and respect than he currently receives.

George is one of the most talented artists I have ever heard! My husband just loves that song! And he doesn't even have a reason. I was excited when my husband took me to see him 3 years ago. I got to sit in the fourth row!!! Talk about an awesome time! George once said that he will sing as long as he has fans who want to hear him. I think he will be around for a very long time!

I've always liked his easy style and enjoy all his songs. I do get tired of some woman drooling over him. One of our local tv news women does and I'd like to smack her. I can remember him when Eddie Rabbit had to cancel his Houston Rodeo appearence due to illness and the rodeo grabbed George off his ranch to replace him. History was made.

There is not enough room here on myLot to write what I think about the music of George Strait,and I'm not even a girl! And I especially respect the man for going through what he went through when his teenage daughter was killed in an accident! It takes a special person to maintain his composer from something that tragic happening to someone you love!! May he live on forever,he will always be my favorite!!
