The Putnam police told me it was handled by the Ct. State police. The state police told me they couldn't help me because it happened in 1974 and they don't have the records there. I have contacted different papers and they don't archive that far back. I would have to check their micorfilm. I am disabled and can't drive. I don't the Putnam, Ct. area and have no idea how to go about obtaining this information. I know I will never give up. If anyone has any information or can tell me newspapers I could contact or how I go about obtaining this information from my computer, I would be so greatful. It happened a long time ago but we were close and I miss her terribly. I want my children to know as much as they can about her.
