I agree that he was a tyrant and nastey man but death doesn't teach lessons to the departed so to say. Hanging is also barbaric and shouldn't be used these days anyway.
What makes me sick is also that listening to the arabs interviewed on TV after the fact they are all saying it is America that did it, but here I see that it was the Iraqi people that did it. Sure these people were put into place by Coalition BUT they enacted their OWN justice. Now others can't cope with the idea that Arabs put other Arabs to death. Scarey. I don't hear of America hanging people as adeath penalty in this day and age after all.... | |

 dreadstar (690) | 3 years ago | Yes it does seem vaguely unholy that he was hanged - that's no way for an old man to die. This guy had the most liberal administration in the middle east, he even had a staff member that was a christian, and he had a certain charisma that came through in that last tv interview with - who was it - Dan Rather or Peter Jennings? One thing that disturbs me is out of his whole career he was sentenced for a single incident involving the murder of 140 people? At a gut level I feel like this was rushed through chiefly to silence him, and maybe to gain cooperation from a single arab faction. It just stinks. Also I immediately smell jewish interests the second i hear someone compared to hitler. In fact the nazi pic i uploaded wasn't my statement of support for his hanging, it was meant for somebody else's anti-white discussion, but mylot mishandles multi-tabbed browsers. It really pissed me off that it came up posted in here because I wanted to hear from arabs, not piss them off. I save THAT for OTHER discussions
