I think Gojira is absolutely godly. I saw them live with Bodom and Amon Amarth when they came to Minneapolis. I knew about them before that and I honestly have to say that they were as important to me to see as Bodom and Amon Amarth. Their sound is completely unique (that I have seen thus far at least) and I think they are very underrated. Do you have many of their songs? I downloaded From Mars to Sirius and that wasn't enough for me so I had to get Terra Incognita and The Link as well as The Link Alive. I would have to say along with the vocals and guitar, which both sound very nice, I most enjoy the drumming. I have not seen a metal band that can as well sychronize their drumming with bass and guitar like they can, for example In the Forest. Glad to see there are more Gojira fans.

I'm always lookin for new metal acts. compare them to other bands to give me an idea

Joe thanxs alot for bringen them to my attention, the first time I heard the heaaviest matter I was in love all over again, sometimes I think I'll stop finding bands of my tastes but not today.

Wow is all I have to say about Gojira. I just saw them on the weekend with Machine Head and Lamb of God. AMAZING. Gojira is such an original metal act, and honestly it's about time a band brought some originality back to the scene.

I had never heard of gojira until i heard they were supporting trivium in the uk but when i heard that i started listening to them a bit and they just so amazing, i couldnt believe i had never heard of a band this good.

They're fairly good. I have the album From Mars to Sirius, which has its moments. The mechanical style the band performs can be likened to Meshuggah or Textures. While their unique sound isn't anything amazing, it is another original style to add to the metal mix.
