 I had this experience 3 years ago, I was aboard Supper Ferry from Cebu going to Manila..It was 2-3am and the topmost deck was restricted..but me and my friends went up anyway,..everything was dark at the top, and millions of stars were shining above us, and seems I could just catch them..We were in the middle of the ocean that time so the islands were way beyond our naked eyes and of course it was dark, but thne I leaned in one of the bars and my friends were in the opposite end, I notice a semi-island, and it was glowing, then on that island was a castle-like buildig, I thought it was some resort, the ship was slowly passing the "island" so I stared at it in fascination, it was really a castle, and it was lighted from the grounds to the towers, but I couldn't see any name signs whatsoever stating that it is a resort or what, the view was breathtaking, the ship went farther and farther away and the sight grew tinier, then I realize my friend was just behind me and I ask her what resort or hotel was that, then she asked me which one, she didn't see anything at all. so it was just me,who saw that..maybe it was some"engkanto" though it was really a beautiful sighting..

Hmmmm... i guess maybe you have a so called third eye because you can see things beyond ordinary one. Since i myself didnt experience something like that i would not believe but neither i dont want also to see one but my mom had a lot of stories about engkantos in which she personally experience during her teenage years like she was courted by a tikbalang and seeing other creature like that living in the big tree near their house.

Anyway..about your post I don't know how that is, cos I too have not experienced anything like that, but I do have a keen sixth sense and I know how unexplicable that is to many people, so I guess if you did actually see it, it might have been extraordinary perception/ very active imagination.. I don't know! Sounds interesting though!

But in a way, its your experience and i, myself didnt believe in it as long as i didnt see it in my own eyes.

Perosnally, its never happened to me before, Ive never spotted something out of the ordinary...but I believe it has something to do with my scientific mind... I dont know.
I did not know the meaning of the engkanto...so I looked it up and learned sometjing new today:
Engkantos are said to be angels who revolted with Lucifer against the Lord. Engkanto are supernatural beings believed by the Filipino people. Albinos are believed to be children of the engkantos, wow did not know this believe is out there. Also, you must never reciprocate the love of an engkantada or engkantado for in doing this you would not only lose your world but also lose your soul.
Interesting stuff indeed!

I am also surprised that so much detail of the "engkanto" could be remembered. I too have never experienced "seeing something" that others could not see - paranornal in other words.
