what are your favorite quotes?  

Well different quotations have different point to remember.i love three quotations i.e HASTE MAKES WASTE ,GREED IS A CURSE and ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD.these three quotations have a point.for example from 2nd quotaion i always realise that more we greed and more we realise.

Considering the present turmoil in Iraq and the presence of US and allied troops there I think one of Pres. Teddy Roosevelt's quotations in 1903 (around the time of the Spanish-American War) is very much valid today:


"A man who is good enough to shed his blood for his country is good enough to be given a square deal afterward. More than that no man is entitled to but less than that no man shall have."


Another of his when he sent the White Fleet of military vessels around the world was: "Walk softly, and carry a big stick." I always liked that one.

My favourite is "Pleasure is the flower that passes; remembrance, the lasting perfume" .
