Hamilton Hound? or Begal? - He does have white under on his chest. He's 8, going on 9.

This goes with my other posts about the Hamilton Hound, Hamiltonstovare. I have a picture, it isn't very good, but can you tell if this is a Hamilton Hound. We're looking to breed, but we only have a male, and we want a dog that looks like him and can't find 'em anywhere! Please help. We want it for my daughters birthday. My husband grew up with this one and he wants a puppy for her. Thank you for your help!My husband was told or remembers being told that it was a short eared begal?? Ture?
