Mind if I post a Service review?

I ordered gifts on line from Walmart.com before Christmas. I paid to have the items shipped by the post office and they were to arrive within 2 - 9 days. This would be in plenty of time for our holiday celebration which had to be delayed till January 6.

After the 9th day, with no delivery, I checked on line and saw that one item was shipped UPS and had been sitting in their Rancho Cucamonga office for 9 days. The other was shipped with the post office but no tracking info was available.


I called Walmart to ask "WTF?" Their response was that they had no tracking information so couldn't tell me what was going on other than they had shipped them.

When I explained that my order was based on their commitment to have the packages delivered by a certain date, and that now I would have to make a last minute shopping trip to buy gifts, their only response was wait a couple of days and see if they show up. Again I explained why I couldn't wait another three days, beyond the ten I had aleady waited, for a package that was supposed to have been there in 9 days.

At that point they agreed to issue a refund which I accepted. Then they said, "OK when the package gets there, mail it back and we will issue a refund."

So...I had to pay shipping to my house, will have to pay to ship it back and if the package nevers shows up I'm SOL as there will be nothing to send back.

We bought a rainbow about three years ago. I don’t like it because it is so big and cumbersome. It works great. for Those that don't know the vacuum set over a water tank. The best thing about the rainbow is that you can tell whether or not you are getting your carpet or furniture clean by the water. you vacuume then empty the water, vacume agan until the water stays clean. then you know just how clean you carpet is.

We have a Dirt Devil Ultra Vision Turbo. It's bagless but has a filter you need to regularly keep cleaned out. I tap it out *everytime* after I use it. When the filter gets clogged it loses suction. We replace the filter about once a year for $20. We've used it for 2 or 3 years now and I've been happy with it. We have about 10 cats running in and out. 3 cats that are housecats. 2 dogs that stay outside most of the time. Think I paid around $100-$125 for this vacuum? Before this one we had a hoover. It used a bag and it just didn't seem to hold up very well. I think it died after a year or two. I was not impressed!

Great discussion started, hmmmmm, I think the IPOD was a great gift and our HP digital camera......We've had no problems so far, but by far, they are the best this year.....

I am thrilled with the Brita water filter jug I bought a few months ago.

While we have pretty good water, we do occasionally get a chlorine taste and smell. I have never been a big drinker of plain water, adding lemon juice or lemon and ginger. Since having the Brita in the fridge, I drink at least 2 litres a day and prefer just plain water to any other drink.

In fact, I like the water so much I bought a second jug to keep filtered water for use in the electric kettle.

I bought a one cup coffee machine by proctor silex christmas 2005 and it cracked shortly after we bought it and the water was leaking out alowly.
Also my husband bought a bicycle a couple of years ago at Walmart, but I don't remember the brand. And when I was riding it the wheels just locked up and I flew off it right on the highway. I had some nasty bruising and was sore for weeks due to this.
Now for a good review :)
I bought a tv 5 years ago, a Phillips and I bought it used and still runs as if it was brandnew.

The swifter wet jet. What a useless waste of money that was. first the battery compartment never stayed closed as soon as i would start cleaning off it would pop to the point i had to tape it to keep it on. I tried both the hardwood cleaner and the reg floor cleaner i had the same results with both. The floors were soooooooo dull it was not funny. Streaks eveywhere i thought ok i used too much of the product so i gave it another try and again using at least half off what i used the first time i still had streaked dull floors. So i called the company to let them know what i thought and although the lady was pleasant to speak to i got no where with them. I made a suggestion that maybe they could make the bottles so that they could be refilled with my own cleaner or maybe just water so i could rinse the floors when done. I got well no cause then they will lose money on the cleaning solution. So needless to say its in my downstairs closet collection dust along with 2 more bottles of cleaner and 3 packs of pads. (i bought it a costco and got the whole kit.) useless useless useless

I bought a GPX Portable DVD player for my son for Christmas. I paid $200 for it. We charged the battery, and put a DVD in to check it out. It keeps making a loud "clicking" noise, and within the first minute of playing the DVD, it shuts down. Needless to say, I am returning it....
