how many of you have read the survivor, by James Herbert ?

its a story about a pilot who is the only survivor of a plane crash that kills all the passengers, these passengers later haunt the town near the crash site,and as the story progresses the pilot,the dead passengers and the town near the crash site all become involved in the same drama . i think it is THE most scary horror-story i ever read , i remember it effectively tormented me, making me spend nights awake because i was afraid to turn out the lights, and i wasn't a small child then, either . if you read this, i would like to know your impressions , and advice on getting the movie (free download) also a free copy in ebook format? if you haven't read it yet, i recommend it to you , please tell me if you liked it later .
