What's the weather like?

Well, here in Edmonton AB, Canada we are experiencing a blizzard. There is blowing snow, poor visibility and currently minus 27 degrees Celsius with wind chill. A drive to work that took 20min for me yesterday, took 1 hour today. It will be minus 43 degrees Celsius with wind chill overnight tonight, but looks a lot better for Friday and on. I can handle the cold (although minus 30 and colder is uncomfortable when outside), but the worst part of this is driving. I'm glad I got winter tires & heat that works! This is the thing about living here, you get a taste of the weather in both directions. Plus 30 in the summer and minus 30 in the winter. I wouldn't change a thing. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

I am in North Carolina. Two weeks ago it was 20 degrees Farenheit here, yesterday summer was here, it was 88 degrees, F. I am not complaining though, until a year ago I lived in Pennsylvania my whole life. They just had a foot and half of snow a week and a half ago and it's still cold there.

Cool. We're expecting snow over here. We always get one last dump in Spring. It will be gone right away though, as always.

Well I was glad to see that this discussion started 3 months ago. Here in Ontario, Canada...just north of the city of Toronto, Spring is officially here now, and today is Monday, March. 26th. Today the temperature was 18oCelcius here...or approx. 67oF. Started off with the rain pouring down, fog, thunder and lighning. As the rain cleared away, the sun came out and the temp. went up and I understand it was beautiful out there.

Cool. It's really nice right now over here. I hear we're supposed to get some snow tomorrow. That normally happens at the begining of Spring. We get one last dump then it's gone so fast.

Oh, I would love to see a little snow. We get so little snow here in Ireland. We are now in the middle of winter and the weather is quite warm for this time of year. I am amazed at the amount of times I have to switch off my central heating during the day. However there is no end to the rain, and very windy weather if forecast for to-morrow and Friday.

brrrrrr that sounds cold!! Here in Florida it's warm and sunny about 80F degrees.. LOL it's always warm and sunny here.. It was warm enough last week to take a swim in the pool..The winter is the best time in Florida in my opinion....Just delightful...it's not called the sunshine state for nothing.. The down side is, the summer months here are HOT and what makes it worse it all the humidity!! Thank goodness for air conditioning :) Then there are the hurricanes..Last summer was quiet so that was good! I am originally from Boston which does experience the four seasons..Sometimes I miss the changes with the seasons... Here in Florida we only have two...Hot and Very Hot!

The other thing too is I can't imagine Christmas without snow. I guess because I grew up with it. It would be weird if it was Dec and the weather outside was hot and snow-less.
