dont let friends borrow your vehicles!!!!!!!  

well a few days ago i had let my friend borrow my truck. when i got it back it looked like someone smashed it with a baseball bat..... his excuse was that he went into a store (wal*mart) and when he came out he had seen, my driverside window smashed in and i had dents on the passanger wheel well (fender), hood, and the driver side door. i was so mad i couldnt say a word. what should i do? should i charge my friend for the dammages or try and find out if he told me the truth or not.......im so confused, please help me out
