Ever notice how much people are charging for premade scrapbook pages?

If you are frugal, it could cost you like 20cents (plus the cost of photos) to make a page! If you reuse scraps paper from other projects, than that's pretty much free. If you collect items from the ocassion, than that's also free. For example, if they have decorative napkins at a birthday party, grab a couple clean ones and stash them away. If there are other things like confetti, etc, collect that too! Those are all free decorations for your scrapbook AND they add a more personal touch since they are from the event.

At restaurants like hard rock cafe, I have kept the little flag they put in my sandwich and used that as decor. So basically, the cost of photos, and maybe a little glue, is the only thing you'll have to buy.

But check on ebay and see if anyone is actually BUYING these premade pages. I looked into selling premades on ebay a while ago. There were tons of auctions posted, but none of them have bids.

I totally agree with "jcvsmom" there are a million acutions but very few have any bids above $5.00. However, pre-made pages do sell fairly well at local craft fairs. I usually charge $20.00 for a two-page spread and they cost around $7.00 to make. I also have brochures and offer scrapbooking services were I will put peoples albums together for them.

I could make an awesome page for less than $2...but the time that goes into it is at least 2 hours. So really for 2 pages she's getting about $5 an hour...that's not such a good wage is it?

i think the same thing. most pages would cost less than about £5 to make..and people are ranking int he money. i find it isnt just about embellishments on a page, it is the sentiment/quote etc aswell as the photo paper quality that are important

I make pre made for other and I charge by the size like 12x12 is 12.00 and to add a journal block for .50 more that is it because the customer has to just add the photos the thing with ebay is the price there is no set price unless the person set up a price they are bidding and that makes it more . So yes you can rack up on ebay.
