Have you experienced being a bridesmaid?

I have experienced being a bridesmaid last year, May 2005 for the wedding of my boyfriend's friend. The motif is blue so I have to a wear blue, it was a nice experience.
Another friend of my boyfriend invited us (me and my boyfriend) to attend their wedding, me, as one of the bridesmaids again. It is going to be on April and the motif is "orange".

You know it's a different experience when you are all dressep up for the wedding and you are also one of those who will walk in the aisle before the bride.

my best friend got married 3 years back and i was the maid of honour for her wedding. it was fun. the pattern of my gown was horrible, green and satin but had a blast anyway. its fun because you get to be so involved in the wedding and wedding preparations start months in advance. i love that more than just showing up at the wedding as a guest and it does feel good being the maid of honour

I was my aunts maid of honour 6 years ago. My dress was cream and green and I loved getting dressed up. I was young though so I was nervous and I felt I perhaps had a bit too much responsibility.
