| | | | | | 1. GardenGerty (20190) | 3 years ago | I took Latin over thirty years ago, so as I remember "sum" which we pronounced "soom" was part of the verb "to Be", translated "I am". I am curious, why do you ask? I do not know if that applies to the word "sum" pronounced "some" meaning the product of an addition problem. Hope this helps.
