I believe that overall the food supply itself in a fast-food restaurant is safe. I believe that these restaurants store the food as directed by the health departments and dispose of anything that is dated or has been out of refrigeration for the specified length of time. After all, they want customers to keep coming back, and they also don't want huge fines and investigations from the health department. What concerns me about restaurants is that employees may not be washing their hands after using the restrooms, or they may not be washing correctly. Did you ever see what the majority of people call "washing their hands" in a public restroom? Try watching people in an airport restroom- it's disgusting! If that is an indication of what the restaurant employees are doing, then it's no wonder that people get sick!
