pruning fig trees to bear more  | |  I have a Desert king fig tree . it took well when I planted it and its growth is good its gone from a whip to a fifteen foot tree in four years or thereabouts. it produces a good eating fig but only three or four fruits on the ends of the new growth branches. needless to say production is not that great. So! what can I do to improve production?

This Query should have been answered long back. I don't know whether responding now will make any difference to them or not. But I feel that we should give it a try. What do you say? Thanks
