Care Bear Baby Shower

Here is my list of ideas:

Quizzes! Maybe you can find one at "blogthings.com" and make it up, and have everyone take it, so they can reveal "what carebear they are." It wouldn't have to be exactly like it, maybe you could find another one, or tweak one on your own to make it easier to do on paper.

See if you can find banners, plates, or hats with carebears themes. It shouldn't be too hard, considering they're pretty popular nowadays.

Carebear cake. Go to DQ or Hy-Vee or somewhere that does them. They'd easily have those available.

Maybe suggest to people invited that they find something Carebear related as a gift, either a serious gift or a gag gift.

I like the idea of having carebears there, too. Maybe you could use them as door prizes.

See if people could write to you sooner about their favorite carebears memories or episodes, and then put them in a little photo album with a message to the baby and a picture of them, to give to your friend for her baby later?

I had a sesame street theme for my daughters first bday party and I ended up buying most of the stuff I needed online. Stores only have so much. Go to sites that carry birthday supplies. Most stuff is cheap. Have fun decorating!
