I use herbal conditioners on my scalp, Braiding it is always a plus, brushing it. I always keep my hair oiled wrapped in a silk scarf at night. I was it once a week.

I keep my hair, up in a pony tail and use a hair clip. That way I don't break my hair taking rubber bands out. I also brush it everday at least for 30 minutes. I do this when watching the evening TV. Also, protein! Try eating at least a table spoon of peanut butter a day, this will increase your hair growth. Last but not least, don't over wash it. That will dry your hair out. Once you are in your late twentys, washing your hair every other day won't hurt and use conditioner!

Good hair care products are a must! As well as diet and nutrition! Regular trimming to take off dead ends always needs to be done as well!

As you need food regularly so do your hair.

I do regular oiling as well wash it.Once a week i apply curd with few drops of lemon, n for conditioning i apply "heena" also called "mehandi"(in India).
To prepair mehandi:(ONLY FOR BLACK N DARK BROWN HAIR)
Boil some tea leaf in water, n separate the leaf n water,
now in a container made of iron(unpolised. with junks), mix mehandi powder(available in market, all over india), tea water,n 1/2 tea spoon coffee.make it like a thick paste.Leave it overnight.
In morning u will find a black thick layer over it,now mix it all.put two spoon of curd n an egg. mix it properly. now apply with a brush on each n every lock of hair n leave to dry to 2 to 4 hrs.now risen your hair with lots of water.when your hair dry oil it.if possible keep oil for 2 hrs.And wash your hair.

Take my words better than any conditioner in market. 100% herbal.But do check u dnt hav allergy from egg, else avoid it.

Well for your hair to make it grow much longer..you can use a hair grower you can buy it in any malls.

For me to make my hair shiny all the time I apply spa treatment at least once a week. I shampoo it every other day and put conditioner every day.

But theres this new craze in the saloon called hair reborn..it says that it can make your hair shiny and really smooth..This i also want to try. Or maybe Il just have my hair cellophaned so that I dont have to dye it anymore.

The often you dye your hair the more it becomes brittle and dull. So you have to maintain the treatment as much as possible to make it stay alive.

I wear my hair in a ponytail all the time and it grows as fast as weeds. A year and a half ago, my hair was at my shoulders, now it's almost to my butt and I've cut 3 inches off 3-4 times. My hair is all broken though from wearing it up so much.:-( So, that is really not the best thing to do. I don't know. Guess if you want long broken hair, it's the way to go, lol. Good Luck!

I have had very long hair for 10 years, and I still get compliments on how healthy it looks. I don't use any special products on it. I use shampoo and conditioner but I don't use the same ones all of the time because of build up.
I also don't rip through my hair when I comb it or brush it. I start from the bottom and use a wide toothed comb when it is wet. I also don't use styling products everyday, or blow dry it. Only on the weekends I use a flat iron and a little bit of "Got 2 be Hottie" to get it to shine and look great. It almost looks flawless. I take a multivitamin everyday. During he week I use a barret that clips close to ponytail my hair. The barret is pretty big, and I buy them at Walmart. I have pretty thick hair, so a rubber ponytail holder gives me a headache. I do my own coloring and highlights every 2 months, with products that aren't that harsh, so it does minimal damage.

I trim it myself every month, so that is probably why I don't find split ends. I think taking good care of it is what helps it grow faster. It is a lot of work, but I don't have to style it everyday, so that's less maintenence.
I treat my hair like an accessory, it should look good, or cut it. I think long scragly hair is ugly, and if my hair looked like that I would rather cut it than to keep it because it's long. My hair is waist length.

I have done all kinds of things to my hair, strighten it, curl it, braid it, cut and color. I think the best way to grow your hair is keep your roots strong. Have light trim one in 3 months. This will only increase the speed of growing. Give your hair an oil massage once in a week. Almond oil is really good for hair. Apply and massage for atleast 10 minutes, then wash it off. Always use a good shampoo and conditioner. Loreal is a good one. Eat healthy and drink lots of water.

I find if i trim my hair at the ends it grows faster i also have done most everything to my hair but have recently quit dying it as i cant seem to find the exact natural brown color that my hair really is i dont want to change the color but want to just cover the grey but with no success it tends to look burgundy or black so now I'm thinking just going to pluck the greys and leave it undyed
