My daughter is turning 21 in March. Any ideas for an age-appropriate celebration?

A Surprise Party What gift can be more exciting than a surprise birthday party? Not many people can think of such an idea for a birthday gift. You can secretly invite all her friends and can organize a cool party either at your home or in a nearby restaurant. You can also select a nice and cool birthday theme and can have all her friends dressed depending on that theme.

Rent a place and have a birthday dance with all her friends and their dates. Make it a surprise party and have a good friend be a dj to play her favorite music. Also, have her favorite food with birthday cookie or cake and icecream. Make it memorable for her and you. Have a fun time tell her Happy Birthday from me too. :)

I went to a bar and bought my first drink...legally. How can you refer to a 21 year old as a child?

Because I am her mother, and she is my child. Anyway, I'm obviously not going to bring her to a bar. If she goes out to a bar with her friends, then so be it. But I want to do something to acknowledge her 21st birthday, too. Because 21 years ago, I became a mother, and it's my right to celebrate her.
