its a lot of fun, and we can also learn sword and stick fighting.
and u can wear a hakama (samurai trousers) after got black belt:)
just like real samurai:D

| 6. 712410886 (1) | 3 years ago | yeah, been practicing Aikido for a while. I belong to a university Aikido Club, in Nagoya, Japan. We are affiliated with the Honbu Dojo (Aikikai) in Tokyo.
We practice in the mornings 7:30 to 8:30, then there's free practice if the dojo is available until 10. If there's another club using it, we usually have to leave by 9. | |

I really love the concepts and principles of Aikido which is non-violent and harmonious in some manner, kinda different from other martial arts disciplines which focuses more on power and aggressiveness.
Aikido is not just all about fighting but practicing it, you could see the spiritual side of it, a very big help in developing one's personality.

I love the teachings behind the techniques, and the concept of becoming one with infinite intelligence, at this point in time it is the 3rd greatest thing in my life, after my family, and learning to become a leader, and it helps me to achieve greater harmony in both of those things. The nearest Dojo is an hour away though, so I have to do a lot of "shadow" techniques, and most of my training is done in seiza, but as I learn to become a leader I will have way more free time. Cheers.
