Escaped Chimpanzee Does Some Housework! LOL - funny news story^_^ |
|
As the news story goes, Judy, a 120-pound chimpanzee, who escaped from her cage at the Little Rock Zoo in Arkansas, got out and raided a cupboard and then did a little cleaning up before the keepers managed to sedate her and get her back in her cage. Apparently, before coming to the zoo, Judy was a house pet and knew about chores. She also went into the bathroom (while escaped) and picked up a toilet brush and cleaned up the toilet!*laugh* It took the zoo staff a couple of tries to get Judy sedated, but finally she fell asleep on top of the kitchen refrigerator with half a loaf of bread that she had pulled out of the fridge*laugh* More here: http://www.davesdaily.com...

1. rainbow (3917) | 2 years ago | ah, bless, she must have been homesick poor Judy. lol It's a funny story but also a little sad, I would never think of having an animal do my chores. Just another example of mans inhumanity really. Still as the sayng goes if you pay peanuts....

Of course, if I was used to living as a house pet and suddenly put in a cage without the familiar toilet to relieve myself in...I would be upset and want to sit on top of the frig too so they couldn't take me back to that cage!!! LOL She was even trying to be helpful by cleaning up to get them to let her stay out! LOL Poor Judy! Too bad I couldn't take her. I would love some help around the house!:) ha ha

6. cremechese (4503) | 2 years ago | Well some people seem to think this indicates cruelty to animals, but I'm not real sure a chimpanzee is going to think of it as "work". It's probably something cool to do for a monkey and I'd sure like her to come over and mop and vacuum cause my back hurts, lol.

I hate cleaning the bathroom. In fact I just did my upstairs one. I do a few questions, then I clean a bit, that way both parts of me are happy...the computer addicted part and the part that wants a clean house.

8. bwrattybaby (4947) | 1 year ago | I want that chimpanzee. I would love to have a helper around the house. Would be nice to have a pet that cleans up after themselves. I can teach my cat's to use the litter box but I can't seem to teach them how to empty it....lol. That's funny I wonder why they got rid of Judy.
