 I got to know that amzon is better than ebay but I am in hesitation whether that can be true. Plese let me know what is the best site for online shopping.

1.  sunnypub (1603) | 3 years ago |  I think it depends on what you are looking for. I buy at both Amazon and eBay and I find that I get better deals at eBay. I enjoy eBay more so I spend more time there. I like the idea of auctions, they are exciting. there are times that I find better deals on Amazon but that is mostly with books. In the end I think it really depends on which one you are more comfortable with.

I also buy at both, and have found that Amazon is better for books most the time. I really like the auctions too though!. I have bought a LOT more off eBay but a lot of that has been books for homeschooling which Amazon does not get as many of. I really enjoy just looking through the auction on eBay, but if I am looking for a particular book, I will usually go to Amazon because they have a better selection most the time.

| 2. Prairiedawn31 (1167) | 3 years ago |  I shop both places but amazon seems to be higher priced on a lot of things. I can get a lot locally and not have to pay shipping and at a less price. I shop amazon because I usually have gc's there and e-bay is my ptr money earned and some survey money so I shop e-bay because I can find things I some times can't find locally and some times you can get really good buys there. It is fun just browsing and fun to shop and find something you didn't even know was out there.

I like Amazon for some items but they are generally higher priced. Ebay carries a lot of the items that you can not find every day so if you want rare or collectibles ebay is for sure the place to go.
