I am just wondering if there are plenty who shop their clothes at any upscale consignment retail stores? Why and why not?
I have never done this. But I am curious about it. Are prices cheaper and is the fashion current? I am curious about others experiences too.
The store I tried was so nice and they don't accept any consignment that is out of fashion. Conditions are almost brand new. I guess there are many rich people that just love to shop and doesn't know what to do with it. Majority got tags on it still. Very cheap....when this store got their weekly sale, you can get a brand new Ann Taylor blouse for like $3.50 or a Hilfiger pants for 5.00, Ferragamo shoes for like 7. But I think it is really up to the owner of the consignment shop to screen what items they want because there are others too that looks like they got their items from donation boxes. You just have to be vigilant with the rips and stains.
I shop at consignment shops. I try to find ones that keep rotating their clothes out because it can get boring going to look at the same things. I also look for stores that sell like new items for the most part. I don't want to waste my time looking through things that are stained or ripped.
