Lonely death

I have not had that experience before and did not realize it.

As you know,there are other animals that do this as well.Of course the first one to come to mind is the elephant.I am sure there are many more.

I have lost cats before and yes they do that. They go to discreet places where you wouldn't normally go. My first cat died in our laundryroom underneath a chair. Our second cat which was only a kitten went in behind a plant and died. I don't know about it being an act of gratitude or not. Interesting theory.

es - I have. My cat Tabsy was 16 years old - she was lively and seemed to be in good health. One morning she got up, ate her breakfast and wandered off into the garden. She laid under the rose bishes and half an hour later I went out to hang out some washing, went over to stroke her, and realised that she was dead. Vet said she had a stroke. Cats are far mor intelligent than human beings - they have greater instincts and know much more than we do.

My favorite cat died in my arms, she was a 15yr calico cat, she had a major seizer and passed quickly after she climbed into my lap, in other words she was saying her last good bye...It was very hard losing her, but her sister still lives, she's a black cat and now she's 17yrs old....
